Engagements & Services

Engagements define which services your practice provides to each entity. They link an entity to a service from your practice's service catalogue, with associated fee arrangements and staff assignment.

Creating an Engagement

  1. Open the entity's Engagements tab
  2. Click + Add Engagement
  3. Fill in:
    • Service — select from your practice's service catalogue
    • Responsible Person — staff member or partner responsible
    • Fee Type — Fixed fee, hourly, or mixed
    • Fee Amount — agreed fee (if fixed)
    • Start Date — when the engagement begins
    • Notes — any special arrangements

Service Catalogue

Your practice defines a service catalogue in Settings → Services. Common services include:

Managing Engagements

From the Engagements tab, you can:

  • View all active engagements for the entity
  • Edit fee arrangements and responsible persons
  • Remove an engagement (deactivates it)
  • Link to billing — engagements feed into invoice creation

Linking Engagements to Billing

When creating an invoice, you can select an engagement to:

  • Pre-fill the service and fee amount
  • Track revenue per engagement
  • Generate contracts from engagement terms
