Quick Start Guide
This guide walks you through your first session in Atlas — from logging in to navigating the dashboard.
Step 1: Log In
- Navigate to hub.atlaspractice.app
- Enter the email and password provided by your practice administrator
- If MFA is enabled, enter your verification code from your authenticator app
- You'll land on the Dashboard
First Login?
If you received an invitation email, click the link to set up your account. You'll be guided through a registration wizard to set your password and profile.
Step 2: Explore the Dashboard
The Dashboard is your command centre. You'll see:
- KPI widgets — key metrics at a glance (entities, compliance status, WIP)
- Compliance summary — upcoming deadlines and overdue items
- Task overview — your assigned tasks and their status
- Notifications — recent alerts and team activity
Step 3: Navigate the Sidebar
The sidebar is organised into three groups:

| Back Office | Documents, Time, Billing, Contracts, Reports, Workflows, Settings |
Command Palette
Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to open the Command Palette for quick navigation to any entity, task, or section.
Step 4: View an Entity
- Click Entities in the sidebar
- Browse or search for a client entity
- Click on an entity to open the Entity Detail view with tabs for:
- Profile, Persons, Obligations, Tasks, Documents, Calendar, Invoices, and more
Step 5: Record Time
- Navigate to Time Tracking in the sidebar
- Select the entity, service category, and date
- Enter hours and a description
- Click Submit — the entry will appear in your time log
