Quick Start Guide

This guide walks you through your first session in Atlas — from logging in to navigating the dashboard.

Watch this walkthrough to see how to log in, explore the dashboard, navigate the sidebar, and view your first entity.

Step 1: Log In

  1. Navigate to hub.atlaspractice.app
  2. Enter the email and password provided by your practice administrator
  3. If MFA is enabled, enter your verification code from your authenticator app
  4. You'll land on the Dashboard
First Login?

If you received an invitation email, click the link to set up your account. You'll be guided through a registration wizard to set your password and profile.

Step 2: Explore the Dashboard

The Dashboard is your command centre. You'll see:

  • KPI widgets — key metrics at a glance (entities, compliance status, WIP)
  • Compliance summary — upcoming deadlines and overdue items
  • Task overview — your assigned tasks and their status
  • Notifications — recent alerts and team activity

Step 3: Navigate the Sidebar

The sidebar is organised into three groups:

Command Palette

Press ⌘K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows) to open the Command Palette for quick navigation to any entity, task, or section.

Step 4: View an Entity

  1. Click Entities in the sidebar
  2. Browse or search for a client entity
  3. Click on an entity to open the Entity Detail view with tabs for:
    • Profile, Persons, Obligations, Tasks, Documents, Calendar, Invoices, and more

Step 5: Record Time

  1. Navigate to Time Tracking in the sidebar
  2. Select the entity, service category, and date
  3. Enter hours and a description
  4. Click Submit — the entry will appear in your time log
