Persons & Directors

Persons are individuals linked to your entities in specific roles. Atlas maintains a central persons database — one person can be linked to multiple entities in different capacities.

Adding a Person to an Entity

  1. Open the entity's Persons tab
  2. Click + Add Person
  3. Choose one of two options:

If the person already exists in your practice's database:

  1. Search by name, ID number, or email
  2. Select the person from the results
  3. Assign their role (Director, Member, Trustee, etc.)

Option B: Create New Person

If the person is new to your practice:

  1. Enter their details:
    • Full name
    • ID number
    • Email
    • Phone
  2. Select their role
  3. Click Create & Link

The person will be added to both the central persons database and linked to the current entity.

Person Details

Each person record includes:

Resignation DateWhen they left (if applicable)
Active StatusWhether they're currently active

Unlinking a Person

To remove a person from an entity:

  1. Open the entity's Persons tab
  2. Click the unlink icon next to the person
  3. Confirm the action

Unlinking removes the person-entity relationship but does not delete the person from the central database. They remain available for linking to other entities.
