Agency Terminology in AtlasOS
AtlasOS is a multi-vertical platform. To feel native for marketing agencies, it relabels core concepts throughout the interface.
Core Term Mapping
| Universal Term | Marketing Agency Label | Where It Appears |
|---|---|---|
| Entity | Client | Sidebar, entity list, detail views, reports |
| Entities | Clients | Sidebar group header, bulk actions |
| Engagement | Retainer | Engagement drawer, client detail |
| Compliance | Milestones | Project milestones, deadline tracking |
| Service | Deliverable | Service catalogue, invoicing line items |
Sidebar Navigation
The sidebar is structured around agency workflows:
| Sidebar Group | What It Contains |
|---|---|
| Dashboard | Practice-wide KPIs, revenue metrics, utilisation summary |
| Smart Inbox | AI-triaged email queue, task creation, client routing |
| Projects | Campaigns & Projects — milestones, deliverables, creative workflows |
| Clients | Client directory, client detail, contacts and key persons |
| Revenue | Invoices, quotes, pipeline, time entries, recurring retainers |
| Outreach | Campaigns, contact lists, automations, email templates, marketing analytics |
| Assets & Docs | Documents, brand asset library, templates, client-uploaded files |

Usage Notes
- When the documentation refers to "entities," your interface displays Clients.
- The Projects section is labelled "Campaigns & Projects" in the sidebar to reflect the dual nature of agency work — ongoing campaigns and discrete projects.
- The Outreach section is expanded by default for marketing agencies. In other verticals it may be collapsed or less prominent.
- Assets & Docs replaces the standard "Documents" label, acknowledging that agencies manage brand assets alongside standard documents.
