Campaign & Project Management

The Projects module (labelled "Campaigns & Projects" in the sidebar) is the operational hub for marketing agencies on AtlasOS. It provides milestone-based project management tailored to creative workflows — from initial brief to final delivery.

Creating a Campaign or Project

  1. Navigate to Projects in the sidebar.
  2. Click New Project and select the client.
  3. Choose from a project template (if configured) or start from scratch.
  4. Define the project scope:
    • Name — e.g. "Q3 Brand Refresh" or "Monthly Social Media Retainer."
    • Client — linked to the client record.
    • Type — Campaign (ongoing, recurring deliverables) or Project (discrete, with a defined end).
    • Start and end dates — or "ongoing" for retainer-based campaigns.

Milestones

Break work into phases with milestones:

  • Strategy & Planning — research, competitor analysis, creative brief sign-off.
  • Production — content creation, design, copywriting, development.
  • Review & Approval — client review cycles, revision rounds.
  • Launch — go-live, distribution, promotion.
  • Reporting — performance analysis, monthly reports.

Each milestone has:

  • A target completion date.
  • A list of tasks (deliverables) assigned to team members.
  • A status indicator (Not Started, In Progress, Complete).
  • Optional billing triggers for milestone-based invoicing.

Task Management for Creative Workflows

Tasks within a campaign represent individual deliverables or work items:

StatusTo Do, In Progress, In Review, Approved, Delivered
ChecklistSub-steps — e.g. "Draft copy," "Design in Canva," "Client review," "Schedule post"

Content Calendar

Use the calendar view to visualise:

  • Deliverable due dates across all active campaigns.
  • Content scheduling — when posts, emails, or ads are planned to go live.
  • Review cycles — when client feedback is expected.
  • Milestone target dates for phased projects.

The calendar supports drag-and-drop rescheduling and filters by client, campaign, team member, or deliverable type.

Deliverable Tracking

Track the status of every deliverable across your agency:

  • Board view — Kanban-style columns (To Do, In Progress, In Review, Delivered).
  • List view — sortable and filterable table of all deliverables.
  • Client view — see all active deliverables for a specific client.

Deliverables link to time entries, enabling accurate billing and utilisation reporting.

Project Templates

Save time by creating reusable project templates:

  1. Navigate to Administration > Project Templates.
  2. Define standard milestones, task lists, and timeline structures.
  3. When creating a new campaign, select the template to pre-populate the structure.

Templates ensure consistency across engagements and reduce setup time for recurring campaign types (e.g. monthly social media management, quarterly brand reports).
