Many AtlasOS features work identically across all verticals. Rather than duplicating documentation, this page links to the detailed guides in the Accounting section where these shared features are documented comprehensively.

Features Not Enabled in This Vertical

The Internal IT vertical is a lean internal operations setup. Many shared features documented in the Accounting section are not enabled here:

  • Documents — document management is not enabled by default.
  • Billing — no invoicing or payment tracking.
  • Time Tracking — no billable hour logging.
  • Client Portal — no external-facing portal.
  • Compliance Calendar — no statutory compliance tracking.
  • Contracts — no contract management.
  • Broadcasts — no bulk communications.

If your organisation requires any of these modules, they can be enabled through Administration > Modules — though this vertical is designed to remain lightweight.

Note: While the linked documentation uses accounting terminology (e.g. "Client" instead of "Department"), the functionality is identical. AtlasOS automatically applies your vertical's terminology throughout the interface.
