Engagement Management

Projects are relabeled to Engagements in consulting mode:

  • Create engagements with defined scope, work packages, and fee arrangements
  • Track progress per work package with milestone deliverables
  • Assign team members per engagement with role-based permissions
  • Link all time entries, invoices, and documents to the engagement record

Work Package Tracking

Services are relabeled to Work Packages:

  • Define work packages per engagement with budgeted hours and fees
  • Track actual vs budgeted time per work package
  • Generate WIP reports per work package, per engagement, or firm-wide
  • Milestone-based billing tied to work package completion

Project-Based Billing

Billing is calibrated for consulting models:

  • Fixed-fee engagements — Define fixed fees per engagement or work package
  • Hourly billing — Billable hours with per-consultant rates
  • Milestone-based invoicing — Link invoices to milestone sign-off
  • Retainer contracts — Recurring billing with automated invoice generation

Sales Pipeline

The full Sales CRM is enabled:

  • Quotes — Client-facing quotes with line items and pricing
  • Proposals — Rich consulting proposals with PDF export and e-signature
  • Pipeline — Kanban board for opportunity tracking through sales stages
