Running Workflows
Once a template is defined, you can launch workflow instances for specific entities. Each instance tracks progress through the defined steps.
Starting a Workflow
- Navigate to Workflows in the sidebar
- Click + Start Workflow
- Select:
- Template — which workflow to run
- Entity — which client this workflow is for
- Start Date — when to begin (defaults to today)
- Atlas generates all steps with due dates based on the template's offset rules
- Steps are assigned to the appropriate team members
Tracking Progress
The Workflow view shows:

Step Detail
Click a workflow to see all steps:

Completing Steps
- Open the workflow
- Click on a step
- Complete any checklist items
- Click Mark Complete
- The next dependent step becomes active
Overdue Steps
Steps past their due date are flagged:
- ⚠️ Yellow — 1 day overdue
- 🔴 Red — 3+ days overdue
- Notifications sent to the assigned user and their manager
Workflow Reports
Track workflow efficiency:
